We all studied Russian at school. However, you can start small.
First of all, in order not to give the impression of an illiterate person, “clear” your vocabulary of words that an educated person should never use. About 10 such verbs will be discussed later.
10. It became hard for me to PUMP
This word is mainly used by representatives of the older generation, however, some fairly young people “sin” with such distortions of the great and powerful. But they probably do not suspect that the words “to catch up” and “to collapse” do not exist at all. Therefore, instead of bending over while working in the garden or bending your knees, it is much better to bend over the beds and bend the knee joints. Only so, and not otherwise.
9. Plant potatoes in the garden
Even those of us who considered and consider ourselves experts in the Russian language may not know that the quite familiar verb “plant” is now recognized by the linguists as obsolete. Many years ago, the words “plant” and “plant” were completely equivalent word forms. Now, in each case, when it is appropriate to apply the verb “plant”, it is more correct to use the form “plant”. For example, do not “plant potatoes”, “but plant potatoes” and do not “plant guests at the table”, but “plant guests at the table”.
8. WAVE Grandma
On the one hand, the prompting with an innocent gesture to express one’s affection for grandmother evokes only respect. On the other hand, to accustom a child from an early age to distort the native language is not very good.
The verb “wave” has 2 forms: the first is classical, long accepted as a literary norm, wave, and the second newer wave. The word waving was only recently included in the list of irregular forms of the use of verbs, however, today these stringent restrictions have been removed, so this verb, although with a scratch, is still allowed to be used in colloquial speech. However, if we talk about the speech of an educated person, then, of course, the word “wave” in his vocabulary does not belong.
7. Why is he Crying?
Your compassionate heart reacted to someone's sadness - it is commendable. Well, what's the difference, were you literate at that moment? When you see someone’s sincere tears, do you really remember the grammar? The arguments in favor of illiteracy are convincing, of course, but still try to remember that the correct conjugations of the verb “cry”: I cry, you cry, she cries, we cry, etc. Therefore, the next time you want to feel sorry for someone, then say: “Why is he crying?”.
6. Today I WILL WIN (win)
This is a very self-confident statement. However, the effect of it can be corrupted by the illiteracy of a person who uses the verb “win” in such a distorted form that is not related to the official norms of the Russian language.
The word “win” is considered by linguists to be a group of insufficient verbs. Therefore, if you need to apply it in a personal form, then it will be more appropriate in this case to say neither “I will win”, but “I will win”.
5. I WILL CONVINCE (I will run away, I convince) you
Here the case is similar to the previous one. In order, for example, to say about yourself in the future tense, you need to use something similar to an auxiliary verb. Therefore, there is no and cannot be any “conviction”, “run away” or “I will convince”. You only need to say, “I can convince you otherwise.”
4. She indulges again - TURN OUT her!
The worst thing in this case is that usually this word is pronounced with the child, and thus he is "infected" by your illiteracy. Hack yourself on the nose and teach the children: the word “scold” in nature does not exist! You should say “scold” or “scold”. Teach children to speak competently from a very young age, because retraining will be much more difficult.
3. SEND WITH ME
The word “go” in the incentive mood has as many as 3 forms - this is “let's go,” “go,” or “go.” Also, many people know the colloquial word "send", which is not used in literary speech. And the imperative form of the verb “send” is a gross violation of the rules of the Russian language, which an educated person should exclude from his speech once and for all.
2. This dress will not fit me
Not every woman decides to say such a phrase out loud, especially if at that moment someone else is next to her. However, if you can not restrain your indignation about the changed figure, then at least do it correctly.
The words “intermeddle” and “intermeddle” by linguists are accepted as colloquial, but there is no strict prohibition on their use. But, with all this, dictionaries do not advise using them in colloquial and literary speech. Therefore, a competent person will always say: "This dress does not fit on me."
1. Lying here
Probably many of us, uttering this phrase, do not suspect that this violates the norms of the literary Russian language. However, mass illiteracy does not justify your personal imperfect knowledge of your native language, if you also allow you to periodically say “lie down”. Everywhere and always correctly say “lie down”. Only such a form of the verb “lie down” is consistent with the morphological norm of the modern Russian literary language. It comes from the base of the infinitive of the imperfective verb “lie”. You can also say “lie down” or “lie down” - this will not be a mistake. However, these forms come from the verb “go to bed,” not “lie down."
