Aliens, astronauts, time travel - you think about it and get a dazzling sci-fi movie. Science fiction is perhaps the best genre in the entire cinema arena. This is an incredibly flexible and comprehensive field that allows writers, directors and actors to demonstrate their work, not limited to other genres.
All science fiction films can contain elements of action, drama, romance, adventure and mysticism (and the best of them have a mixture of subgenres), without blurring the plot lines. Essentially, science fiction is a genre that offers something for everyone.
One of these films is “Prometheus". This 2012 sci-fi film directed by Ridley Scott, written by John Spiecht and Damon Lindelof featuring Numi Rapas, Michael Fassbender and Guy Pearce, starring Idris Elba, Logan Marshall Green and Charlize Theron.
The plot of the film takes place at the end of the 21st century and focuses on the team of the spacecraft Prometheus, which follows the star map found among the exhibits of several ancient terrestrial cultures. In search of the origins of humanity, the team arrives in a distant world and faces a threat that could lead to the extinction of the human species.
If there is a formula for creating a good space movie full of unsolvable puzzles, then consider that we brazenly solved it, and therefore compiled this list of films similar to Prometheus.
